My Most Unforgettable First Time

What was your so called “unforgettable first time experience”? It may probably your first crush, first love, first kiss, first boyfriend/girlfriend or whatever first time story you have. Isn’t it good to remember? Nothing can compare to the feeling of experiencing new things at the first time. 

Let me share to you my very first experience being a Daddy. I cannot explain the emotion. The feeling of excitement, amazement, nervousness, curiosity, happiness and the  indescribable  leap of spirit overpowered my whole being. It was a good feeling. It was something special. Seeing my firstborn baby girl at the first time is a beautiful thing to remember. I loved her even before I saw her. Full of amazement, I stared at her and I can say that it was the most beautiful sight I had ever seen. 

When I saw my daughter the first time, I felt stronger than before. It was the first time I carried her in my arms that I knew it demands great responsibility. I was more than ready to take it. Being the first time Daddy, I experienced waking up at the middle of the night just to check my baby if her diaper is wet or if she is doing fine. I experienced washing her clothes when my wife can’t do it yet. I researched and cooked nutritious food just to make sure that both of them are healthy.  Taking care of my daughter was a great experience I had ever did in my life.

Now my daughter is turning 2 years old. This is the first time I will ever be witnessing someone growing up under my care-someone who is my blood and flesh, my precious daughter.  Everything between me and my firstborn is a first time experience being her awesome Daddy. I hope and I pray that she will grow with full of love and confidence that she was valued and cared for by his loving parents.
